It will support aircraft powered by engines from CFM International, which services a large share of India\u2019s commercial fleet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The facility is expected to reduce overseas maintenance requirements and streamline turnaround times for airlines such as <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/indigo-aircraft\/\">IndiGo (6E)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/air-india\/\">Air India (AI)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Safran\u2019s new facilities will support civil and military aviation programs and offer long-term value to airlines operating Airbus and Boeing aircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The projects were launched in partnership with various Indian organizations and include plans to scale local sourcing, increase production capabilities, and boost employment across multiple cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has also expanded its electronics and avionics manufacturing base in Bengaluru.
