DOHA-<\/strong> Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a> is expanding winter capacity across Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Lagos (LOS), Shanghai (PVG), and Singapore (SIN) to meet rising global travel demand. The airline is adding nearly 3,000 flights this year as part of its wider seasonal schedule uplift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier continues to strengthen connectivity through Hamad International Airport (DOH), offering passengers more options across major global markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways 3,000 Winter Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways has rolled out a series of targeted capacity increases designed to support both regional and long-haul demand. These updates align with the airline\u2019s strategy to enhance frequency on high-performing routes while supporting its Doha hub with stronger links across key continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 17 December 2025, services to Kuala Lumpur (KUL)<\/a> will rise from 14 to 17 weekly. The added frequencies improve connections between Southeast Asia and major destinations such as Jeddah, London, and Paris through DOH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between 15 December 2025 and 28 March 2026, Lagos (LOS) sees an increase from 10 to 14 weekly flights. The expanded schedule supports Nigeria\u2019s growing demand for international travel and boosts links to Delhi, Guangzhou, and London within the airline\u2019s network of more than 170 destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights to Shanghai (PVG) will increase from 7 to 10 per week from 1 January to 28 March 2026. This supports rising travel flows to and from China and strengthens connectivity to Algiers, S\u00e3o Paulo, and Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting 12 January 2026, select Singapore (SIN) flights will be operated by the Airbus A380. The move adds capacity and elevates the premium travel experience on this high-demand route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fleet and Onboard Enhancements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways supports its global footprint with a diversified fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft<\/a> equipped with high-speed Starlink Wi Fi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the first airline worldwide to outfit and operate more than 100 widebody aircraft with the technology and the first in the MENA region to offer it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passengers in both Economy and Premium cabins receive free gate-to-gate Wi-Fi with speeds reaching up to 500 Mbps per aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline continues to refine its schedule by tracking travel trends and aligning capacity with demand patterns across leisure and business markets. Its winter expansions reflect a sustained effort to improve accessibility and maintain strong global connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
