She then sat with her legs tucked sideways and began grinding dead skin off her feet, producing what those near her described as \u201cfoot dust\u201d drifting through the air and settling onto the cabin floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/viewfromthewing.com\/american-airlines-passenger-spends-flight-grinding-dead-skin-off-her-feet-flight-attendant-just-shrugs\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">View from the Wing<\/a>, the seatmate notified flight attendants, but they \u201cshrugged their shoulders,\u201d prompting him to stand for the rest of the flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reactions online described the behavior as \u201crepulsive,\u201d \u201cvile,\u201d \u201cbiohazard,\u201d \u201cfarm animal,\u201d \u201csociopath,\u201d and \u201cBad Place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lack of crew action raised concerns about passenger safety and conflict escalation.
