SAVANNAH-<\/strong> Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.<\/a> confirmed that the Gulfstream G800 achieved its 8th city pair speed record on a flight from Phuket (HKT) to Dubai (DXB). The world\u2019s longest-range aircraft completed the mission in 5 hours and 38 minutes, demonstrating its full performance capability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new record increases Gulfstream\u2019s total city-pair speed records to more than 760 across the fleet. The achievement follows the G800\u2019s August entry into service and reflects strong global interest from customers and operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

World’s Longest Range Jet 8th Speed Record<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Gulfstream G800’s<\/a> 8th record adds to 7 earlier flights, including Miami (MIA) to Riyadh (RUH) in 12 hours and 33 minutes and Florence (FLR) to Savannah (SAV) in 9 hours and 33 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gulfstream reported demand rising quickly since certification, aligning with interest across regions, and preparing for the Dubai Airshow<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream, highlighted the momentum by stating that setting eight speed records soon after entering service confirms the aircraft\u2019s exceptional performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also noted that the Middle East remains a strong region for Gulfstream and emphasized the company\u2019s goal to engage both current and prospective customers at the Dubai Airshow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gulfstream G800 flies 8,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 and 7,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.90, making it the longest-range aircraft produced by Gulfstream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its cabin altitude of 2,840 feet at 41,000 feet, plasma ionization air purification system, and 100 percent fresh air delivery support passenger comfort on long-duration missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sixteen Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows enhance natural light throughout interior configurations that include up to 4 living areas or 3 living areas with a separate crew compartment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G700 Records and Global Mission Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Displayed alongside the G800 at the Dubai Airshow, the Gulfstream G700 recently surpassed 90 city-pair speed records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notable routes include Dubai (DXB) to Sydney (SYD) in 12 hours and 50 minutes, Jakarta (CGK) to Lagos (LOS) in 12 hours and 41 minutes, Abu Dhabi (AUH) to London (LHR) in 7 hours and 48 minutes, and Dubai (DXB) to Hong Kong (HKG) in 6 hours and 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These missions reaffirm the G700\u2019s strong international operating profile. The G700 offers a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935 and a high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its spacious cabin features 20 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows, delivering widespread natural light that complements its advanced cabin systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
