LADAKH\u2013<\/strong> The Indian Air Force<\/a> has officially commissioned Nyoma Airbase in eastern Ladakh as the world\u2019s highest operational fighter base, situated at an elevation of 13,700 feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh inaugurated the Mudh-Nyoma facility by landing a C-130J Super Hercules from the Indian Air Force, accompanied by Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Air Command. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
