This staggering demand reflects an upcoming surge in commercial aviation investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, India has some 8,000 licensed pilots, of whom 2,000\u20133,000 are not actively flying, according to the Minister. He reaffirmed the government\u2019s commitment to evaluating and upgrading training organisations, proposing a rating system to ensure their quality and capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel, he emphasised making India a global training hub for pilots \u2014 not only to meet domestic demand but also to attract international cadets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond pilot training, the government is pushing \u201cMake in India\u201d ambitions in aerospace.
