ISTANBUL-<\/strong> Turkish Airlines (TK)<\/a> is preparing to offer a consistent Business Class experience on all Singapore Changi (SIN) flights, replacing the mixed cabin lineup with its direct aisle access layout. This shift includes services to both Istanbul (IST) and Melbourne (MEL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will move entirely to Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft from March 2026, removing the older Boeing 777-300ER jets that still operate Singapore\u2013Istanbul rotations today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turkish Airlines New Business Class to Singapore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Turkish Airlines\u2019 decision ends years of inconsistency for passengers flying between Singapore and Istanbul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, the route alternates between aircraft fitted with the older 2-3-2 Business Class layout and newer jets equipped with a 1-2-1 seating plan. While Melbourne flights already use the updated cabin, the Istanbul service has long been unpredictable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The older 2-3-2 cabin on selected Boeing 777-300ERs<\/a> offers flat beds but lacks privacy. A third of passengers do not have direct aisle access, and middle seats remain a drawback for solo travellers. Couples may still enjoy the side-by-side layout, but overall, the design falls short of modern expectations for long-haul comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turkish Airlines introduced its 1-2-1 Business Class seats on Singapore flights in 2020 through the Boeing 787 and newer Airbus A350s. These aircraft use the Stelia Symphony seat, offering direct aisle access for all passengers, an 18-inch entertainment screen, free Business Class Wi-Fi, and improved privacy. Despite these upgrades, the route has remained a lottery due to rotating aircraft assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Changes from March 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From 3 March 2026, every Turkish Airlines flight between Singapore<\/a> and Istanbul will use either the Airbus A350 or Boeing 787. Each of these aircraft features the airline\u2019s newer 1-2-1 Business Class seat, ensuring direct aisle access and a uniform product across all rotations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
