This expansion comes as the airline marks three decades of operations to Nairobi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new offering will bring the weekly frequency on the route to 21 flights and will feature a is timed to enhance connectivity for inbound arrivals from Europe and the United States, offering early-morning arrival and departure options at Nairobi\u2019s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scheduling aims to align with onward regional connections via Nairobi and reinforces Emirates\u2019 network strategy in East Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since launching services to <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Kenya\">Kenya<\/a> in October 1995, Emirates has carried over 6.6 million passengers on more than 34,000 flights to Nairobi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strong performance and Trade Impacts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By adding capacity on the DXB-NBO spur, Emirates bolsters Kenya\u2019s ambition to attract five million international visitors by 2030. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The added flight also lifts cargo belly-hold capacity by approximately 280 tonnes per week, supporting Kenya\u2019s substantial export sector of fresh flowers, fruits, and vegetables that rely on rapid transit to global markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interline partnership between Emirates and Kenya Airways (KQ), established in 2023, already links Nairobi with destinations across East and Southern configuration, offering eight private First Class suites, 42 lie-flat Business Class seats, and an Economy cabin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Departures from DXB for flight EK717 are scheduled at 00:55 local time, arriving NBO at 05:05, while the return flight EK718 departs Nairobi at 06:50, arriving Dubai at 12:50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This early schedule is designed to optimise connections with flights from and to Europe and the U.S., and to enable time-sensitive cargo dispatches from Kenya\u2019s fresh-produce and floriculture industries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The route already sees strong inbound demand from Asia
