SINGAPORE-<\/strong> Jetstar (JQ)<\/a> will introduce new direct flights between Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) and Bali\u2019s Denpasar Airport (DPS) from 25 March 2026, offering fares starting at $199.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service will operate three times weekly on Airbus A321LR <\/a>aircraft, giving Sunshine Coast travellers easier access to Bali and onward connections to Singapore (SIN) via Denpasar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jetstar Sunshine Coast to Bali Flight via Singapore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new Sunshine Coast\u2013Bali route marks Jetstar\u2019s first direct connection between these two destinations and the airline\u2019s tenth route from Australia to Bali<\/a>. With around 70,000 seats available annually, the service will save travellers the drive to Brisbane (BNE) for international flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operating three times a week, flights will take approximately six hours each way. Passengers can now travel from Sunshine Coast to Bali\u2019s beaches and cultural attractions without layovers, reinforcing Jetstar\u2019s role as the largest carrier in South-East Queensland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jetstar CEO Stephanie Tully described the launch as a milestone for both the airline and the region, emphasizing the convenience and affordability it brings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She highlighted that the new route provides \u201can easy international getaway\u201d and aligns with Jetstar\u2019s ongoing network expansion to meet rising demand for low-cost travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strengthening Connections Across Asia<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Sunshine Coast\u2013Bali flights are strategically timed to connect with Jetstar\u2019s Bali\u2013Singapore services, allowing travellers to reach Singapore by evening on the same day. This connection enhances access to the Qantas Group\u2019s wider international network and opens new opportunities for business and leisure travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singapore\u2019s Changi Airport (SIN)<\/a> serves as a major Asian hub, linking passengers to destinations across Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond. The new routing will not only attract outbound Australian travellers but also bring more international visitors directly to the Sunshine Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunshine Coast Airport CEO Chris Mills called the development \u201ca game changer,\u201d noting that it transforms the region\u2019s global reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He explained that travellers can now reach both Bali and Singapore without backtracking to Brisbane, while inbound tourists can fly straight to a region renowned for its beaches, hinterland, and tourism experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
