Dozens of aircraft remained parked on tarmacs, resulting in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cancellation of at least five flights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delays of up to 14 hours on key international routes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The stand\u2011off between the engineers and PIA management emerges amid ongoing privatization efforts, raising questions about maintenance practices, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability within Pakistan\u2019s largest airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Society of Aircraft Engineers of Pakistan (SAEP) sources were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenews.com.pk\/latest\/1355734-bitcoin-suffers-steep-decline-under-100000-for-the-first-time-in-months\" rel=\"nofollow\">quoted in The News<\/a> as having said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Six aircraft engineers posted at Peshawar airport have been transferred to Karachi&#8230;. They insisted the engineers are not on strike \u2014 they\u2019re reporting for duty and clearing only the aircraft they believe are fit to fly.
