The company had previously described the effort as \u201cin the deep freezer,\u201d but now confirms the concept will not move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aircraft would have been a modern turboprop regional airliner designed to compete in a market segment long dominated by <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=ATR\">ATR<\/a>. Preparatory concept renderings surfaced in 2020 (wing-mounted engines) and 2021 (rear-mounted engines).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, no launch decision was taken. Gomes Neto stated, \u201cThe risk for the supply chain in 2025\u2026 is over.
