DUBAI\u2013<\/strong> Emirates Airline (EK)<\/a> is set to significantly increase its service to Cairo (CAI), adding a fifth daily flight on the Dubai\u2013Cairo route. The move follows six additional weekly frequencies starting 1 December\u202f2025, and from 1 February\u202f2026, the schedule will shift to a full daily service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning 1 December\u202f2025, the airline will deploy six extra weekly flights on the route as the winter peak season approaches. From 1 February\u202f2026 onward, the new daily flight will integrate with the existing four services to deliver a total of five daily flights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates Adds More Flights to Cairo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Emirates\u2019 expanded schedule uses the Boeing\u202f777<\/a> on the Dubai (DXB)\u2013Cairo (CAI) route and is timed to optimize connectivity for onward travel from Dubai to key Asian markets, including Hong\u202fKong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The additional cargo capacity is notable: an extra 300\u202ftonnes per week of belly\u2011hold space will be added on the Boeing\u202f777 flights, supporting trade and fresh produce exports from Egypt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cairo was among Emirates\u2019 earliest international destinations and remains a high\u2011priority market. The city already hosts the highest deployment of Emirates\u2019 A380<\/a> aircraft in the Middle East & North Africa region outside of Dubai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon the launch of the fifth daily flight, Cairo will become the most\u2011served city in the airline\u2019s entire African network. Emirates has operated flights to Cairo since 1986, during which time it has carried over 10\u202fmillion passengers to and from the Egyptian market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong Travel Demand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Between December 1st<\/sup> to January 31st<\/sup>, Emirates is set to operate on this route on all days except Thursdays. From February, the carrier will offer daily services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The capacity increase reflects rising leisure and corporate travel demand between Egypt and the UAE, and supports Emirates\u2019 role as a hub\u2011carrier connecting Egypt through Dubai to Asia and other long\u2011haul markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Egyptian exporters, especially fresh\u2011produce suppliers such as strawberries and other fruits and vegetables, the increased cargo lift offers faster and more reliable access to global markets via the Emirates SkyCargo network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bilateral Relations and Market Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The increase in flight frequency underscores the strong bilateral relations between Egypt and the UAE, including tourism, industry, and commerce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enhanced air connectivity is expected to further strengthen trade and investment links and promote tourism between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
