The incident occurred at Edinburgh Airport (EDI) on Saturday, 25 October, when the couple, booked to travel with <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/klm\/\">KLM (KL)<\/a> on the flight to <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/amsterdam-schiphol-airport\/\">Amsterdam (AMS)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The couple says their severe nut and peanut allergies were ignored by the airline staff. When the free \u201ccookie\u201d-type offering turned out to be a banana loaf topped with almonds, the couple said they felt their safety was compromised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Kelly&#8217;s words were quoted in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/uk-news\/klm-passengers-forced-leave-aircraft-36155212\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Mirror<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>I\u2019ve never felt so discriminated against in all my life.
