The aircraft delivers 25% less fuel burn and CO\u2082 emissions compared to older models, aligning with Etihad\u2019s commitment to sustainable aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>September 2025<\/strong>, Etihad carried <strong>1.9 million passengers<\/strong>, a <strong>21% year-on-year increase<\/strong>, maintaining a high <strong>89% load factor<\/strong>. Network capacity grew <strong>25%<\/strong> year on year, supported by new aircraft and routes across Asia, Africa, and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Etihad has launched or announced <strong>31 new destinations in 2025<\/strong>, including <strong>Medan (Sumatra)<\/strong>, <strong>Phnom Penh (Cambodia)<\/strong>, <strong>Addis Ababa (Ethiopia)<\/strong>, and <strong>Krabi (Thailand)<\/strong>, bringing its network close to <strong>90 destinations<\/strong> worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Europe remains a key growth region, with flights across the continent up <strong>35%<\/strong> last summer compared to the previous year. This ensures continued one-stop access across major Australian cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>Scott Charlton, CEO of Sydney Airport<\/strong>, the A350\u2019s arrival signals Etihad\u2019s confidence in the Sydney market.
