HONG KONG\u2013<\/strong> An Air India (AI)<\/a> Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner encountered a minor technical issue at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)<\/a> on Thursday morning (October 16, 2025), briefly delaying its scheduled flight to Delhi (DEL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft, registered as VT-ANO, was operating as flight AI315 when onboard systems detected an anomaly requiring ground checks before takeoff. The flight was initially scheduled to depart at around 8:50 a.m. local time, but was held back for safety inspections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Air India officials, the delay was caused by a minor fault that required the resetting of an onboard component. Engineers performed a routine diagnostic check, after which the aircraft resumed normal operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
