The carrier urged the administration to extend the ban to <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/cathay-pacific\/\">Cathay Pacific (CX)<\/a> and other Hong Kong-based airlines that continue to operate over Russia on U.S.-bound routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>United argues that the current situation effectively bars it from resuming nonstop flights to major Chinese cities from hubs such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Newark (EWR) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Washington, D.C.
