effective 26 October 2025, coinciding with the start of the Northern Winter 2025 schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expansion increases the airline\u2019s weekly frequency from 24 to 28 flights, adding flights between India and the United Kingdom, deploying over 18,000 weekly seats (one way) and approximately 1.7 million seats annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this expansion, Air India reinforces its <strong>lead as the largest India\u2013UK operator<\/strong>, ahead of competitors such as <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/british-airways\/\">British Airways<\/a> and Virgin Atlantic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline\u2019s India\u2013UK network connects five Indian cities, Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), Bengaluru (BLR), Ahmedabad (AMD), and Amritsar (ATQ), with three UK destinations: London Heathrow (LHR), London Gatwick (LGW), and Birmingham (BHX).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cExpanding our connectivity to the United Kingdom underscores Air India\u2019s commitment to
