TORONTO-<\/strong> Lufthansa Airlines (LH)<\/a> has launched its latest Allegris cabin product from Frankfurt, marking a new phase in the airline\u2019s premium travel offering. The first Allegris-equipped Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner took off today on flight LH470 from Frankfurt (FRA) to Toronto (YYZ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this rollout, Lufthansa expands its modernized long-haul service beyond Munich, adding destinations such as Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Bogot\u00e1 (BOG), Hyderabad (HYD), and Austin (AUS) to its Allegris network starting with the winter schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa 787 Allegris New Route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa\u2019s Allegris cabin represents the airline\u2019s most extensive product overhaul in two decades, designed to elevate comfort and choice across all travel classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introduced in May 2024 on the Airbus A350-900<\/a> from Munich (MUC), the concept has already been experienced by over half a million passengers\u2014with satisfaction rates exceeding 90 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Allegris cabin introduces entirely new seat types and layouts in every class. Business Class offers seven seating options, including suites with higher partitions and sliding doors for enhanced privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premium Economy features fixed-shell seats, allowing passengers to recline without affecting others, while Economy has improved legroom, ergonomic cushions, and 40% larger entertainment screens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Lufthansa\u2019s Frankfurt Hub Manager, Francesco Sciortino, expanding Allegris to the carrier\u2019s largest hub is a key milestone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized that the product\u2019s reception has been \u201centhusiastically positive\u201d and that its introduction on additional long-haul routes underlines Lufthansa\u2019s focus on consistent, high-end travel experiences across its global network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New 787 Fleet Strengthens Network Reach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Allegris experience is being deployed on Lufthansa\u2019s growing fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners<\/a>, known for their efficiency and quieter cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft operating the inaugural Allegris service, tail sign \u201cPapa-Fox,\u201d has been named \u201cFrankfurt am Main\u201d to honor the airline\u2019s central hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the coming months, Lufthansa expects the delivery of 29 more Boeing 787s, which will gradually expand the Allegris footprint across key intercontinental destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
