This expansion positions United as the top US carrier across the Atlantic, serving 46 cities next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline adds daily nonstop service from Washington-Dulles (IAD) to Reykjavik (KEF), Iceland, and from Newark (EWR) to Seoul (ICN), South Korea, while boosting flights to Tel Aviv (TLV), Israel. United Airlines (UA) launches exclusive US nonstop service to Split (SPU) from Newark (EWR) on April 30, 2026, operating three times weekly on Boeing 767-300ER<\/a> aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) starts three weekly nonstops from Newark (EWR) on May 22, 2026, via Boeing 737 MAX 8. This pilgrimage endpoint boasts Gothic cathedrals and medieval streets in Galicia’s northwest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

United introduces daily flights from Washington-Dulles (IAD) to Reykjavik (KEF) on May 21, 2026, using Boeing 757-200 with lie-flat business class, the only such option between capitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This adds to existing Chicago-O’Hare (ORD) and Newark (EWR) routes, easing access to Blue Lagoon spas, Northern Lights, and black-sand shores. Since 2019, Dulles has gained nine transatlantic links, including recent Dakar (DSS) year-round and seasonal Venice (VCE), Nice (NCE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
