Traveling with family is always special. The excitement began as soon as we landed in Abu Dhabi. Our private van was waiting for us, and what made it memorable was the warmth of the drivers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every driver we had during the trip happened to be from Pakistan, and without exception, each one was humble, kind, and genuinely helpful. They were more than drivers; they were guides in their own way, sharing little stories, asking about our day, and always making sure we were comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day three was dedicated to speed and shopping. Ferrari World is impossible to miss with its massive red roof. Inside, it is every car lover\u2019s dream, but even for those less interested in cars, the rides are thrilling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of us dared to try Formula Rossa, the world\u2019s fastest roller coaster. It goes from zero to 240 km\/h in under five seconds, and it is as intense as it sounds. The screams turned into laughter once we got off, and it became one of those family moments we\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The park also had plenty for kids, with simulators and gentler rides that gave them the Ferrari experience in their own way. The Italian-style interiors made it feel like we were strolling through a European street in the middle of Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Ferrari World connects directly to Yas Mall, it was natural to spend the second half of the day there. The mall is enormous, with every kind of shop and restaurant you can imagine. After the adrenaline of the rides, the calm of window-shopping, sipping coffee, and buying souvenirs was the perfect balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plan at least half a day for Ferrari World and another half for Yas Mall. Don\u2019t try to rush them into just a few hours, because both deserve time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tip of the day: Do not carry extra items like food, drinks, or spare clothes, as they aren\u2019t allowed inside. Renting a locker for storage is quite expensive, so it\u2019s best to bring only what you truly need for the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This day showed us a different side of Abu Dhabi. We began with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which is truly breathtaking. The scale, the white marble, the chandeliers, and the peacefulness of the place left us in awe. Even the kids were quiet, walking barefoot across the cool marble floors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we visited the BAPS Hindu Temple, a beautiful structure that felt like a piece of India in the UAE. It was a reminder of how cultures and faiths can exist side by side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning was a leisurely one for us since our driver was about to pick us up at 3 in the afternoon. But instead of lazing around, we decided to make the most of our time and headed straight for some shopping at Meena Bazaar<\/strong> and the Gold Souk in Deira<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wandering through Meena Bazaar felt like stepping into a vibrant maze of colors, scents, and bargains, from traditional Indian jewelry and perfumes to sparkling textiles and souvenirs, every corner had something to catch the eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To reach the Gold Souk, we took a ferry ride across the creek from Meena Bazaar to Deira<\/strong>, and it turned out to be one of the simplest yet most memorable parts of the day. The ride cost just 1 AED per person<\/strong>, but the view- the glimmering water, wooden abras gliding past, and the skyline shimmering in the heat, was priceless. It was a small, beautiful reminder that sometimes, the simplest experiences end up being the most special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our VIP Desert Safari experience in the golden dunes of Sharjah<\/strong> was one unforgettable evening filled with thrill, beauty, and a touch of desert magic. We had the option to choose between a Nissan and a Land Cruiser for our ride; of course, we went with the Land Cruiser for that full safari vibe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our driver picked us up right from our hotel, and after about a 45-minute scenic drive<\/strong> through the city\u2019s outskirts, we reached the vast desert where the real adventure began. Before the main safari, we had a half-hour break<\/strong>, the perfect time to try quad biking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A small tip: bargain hard<\/strong> before finalizing your quad biking deal; prices can vary, and a little negotiation goes a long way. The 20-minute quad ride was pure freedom, just us, our bikes, and the endless amber dunes stretching in every direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once done, our driver took the Land Cruiser to a small garage to deflate the tires<\/strong>, preparing for the dune bashing ahead. And then it began; the wild rollercoaster through Sharjah\u2019s desert! Being vegetarians, the food wasn\u2019t quite the highlight for us, but the energy of the evening more than made up for it. As the night cooled, we sat under a sky full of stars before our driver dropped us back to our hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The driver opened the door with a smile, and the moment we stepped in, it felt surreal: plush seats, colorful lights, and our favorite songs playing in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon after, we were back on the road, soaking in every bit of the luxury before returning to our hotel. It was a short but unforgettable experience, the kind that makes milestone birthdays feel even more magical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After our limo ride, we took a short rest before heading out for our much-awaited visit to the Museum of the Future<\/strong>. Our entry slot had been pre-booked, so we arrived right on time and were instantly captivated by the museum\u2019s stunning architecture. It looked like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After our visit to the Museum of the Future, we made our way to Dubai Marina<\/strong>, where a balloon-decorated private yacht<\/strong> awaited us for our mom\u2019s 50th birthday celebration. Day seven was about heights and views. We began at the Sky Views Observatory. Walking across the glass bridge gave us an adrenaline rush, and the glass slide was something none of us will forget. Sliding down while looking at the city below was both terrifying and exhilarating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next came the Burj Khalifa, the highlight of any Dubai trip. From the 124th floor, we could see the desert stretching endlessly on one side and the sea on the other. The city looked like a miniature model, and we couldn\u2019t stop taking photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, we headed to The View at The Palm. Only from above can you truly appreciate the scale of Palm Jumeirah, with its fronds stretching out into the Arabian Gulf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After several packed days, we decided to slow down. With a private car at our disposal, we had the freedom to explore at our own pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later in the evening, we headed to JBR Beach<\/strong>, where the energy was infectious- music, lights, and laughter all around. We ended the day on the sweetest note by trying the most viral gelato ice cream<\/strong>, creamy, rich, and every bit worth the hype. It was the perfect end to a magical journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lesson learned:<\/strong> Always keep a balance in your itinerary. Don\u2019t pack every day with heavy sightseeing. A slower day gives you time to rest, shop, and discover smaller details that tours often skip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
