AMSTERDAM-<\/strong> KLM (KL)<\/a> has reported financial losses exceeding \u20ac30 million due to three recent strikes by its ground crew at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS)<\/a>. KLM Suffers \u20ac30 Million Loss<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The strikes stem from disagreements between KLM management and unions representing ground staff. While three unions\u2014NVLT, VKP, and De Unie\u2014accepted a new collective labor agreement that included a 2.25% pay increase, members of FNV and CNV rejected the deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They argue that ground staff are being treated unfairly compared with pilots and demand significantly higher compensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
