ABU DHABI-<\/strong> Etihad Airways (EY) is set to strengthen its European network in the 2026 northern hemisphere summer season. The carrier will add services to Dublin Airport (DUB) and Prague (PRG), enhancing connectivity through Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline\u2019s growth reflects its strategy to position Abu Dhabi as both a key destination and a vital transit hub. Travelers from Europe will benefit from increased flight options and onward connections to Asia, Australia, and the Indian Ocean region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etihad Airways Adds More Flights to Europe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Etihad Airways will significantly expand its flights to Europe beginning March 29, 2026. Dublin Airport (DUB), a long standing European gateway for Etihad, will see its Abu Dhabi (AUH) route grow from 10 to 13 flights per week at the start of the Northern Summer Schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From April 6, frequencies will rise further to 14 per week, offering passengers two daily services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights will be operated using a mix of Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-9 aircraft. This blend provides flexibility in capacity while maintaining premium cabin service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dublin remains an important market for Etihad, having celebrated its 15th anniversary with the airline in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prague (PRG) will also benefit from daily service beginning in April 2026. Initially increasing from four to six weekly flights on March 29, a seventh frequency will be added on April 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operated by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner configured with 28 business class and 262 economy seats, this expansion underscores Etihad\u2019s commitment to growing its Central European presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fleet Deployment and Configurations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Etihad\u2019s European frequency increases coincide with strategic aircraft changes on select Asian routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning April 2, 2026, flights EY372 and EY373 between Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Mal\u00e9 (MLE) will be operated by the Airbus A321LR, replacing the Airbus A320.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This move enhances efficiency and offers an upgraded onboard experience for passengers traveling to the Maldives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, the Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Phuket (HKT) service will transition to partial A321LR operation from April 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights EY414 and EY415, originally planned to switch aircraft types in May, will make the transition one month earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etihad will serve Phuket four times daily in summer 2026, using two Airbus A321LRs and two Boeing 787-9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
