The greenfield airport near Delhi (DEL) is preparing to begin domestic and cargo flights from the fourth quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Airline major IndiGo (6E) is expected to be the first carrier to launch services from the airport. In parallel, the airport is running a comprehensive Operational Readiness, Activation, and Transition (ORAT) program. This includes trial runs, simulations, and system tests covering baggage handling, security checkpoints, check-in counters, and boarding gates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terminal trials, launched earlier this year, are focusing on real-time passenger flow, integration of systems, and coordination among airline and ground handling partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cargo infrastructure is also progressing, with the terminal nearing completion. According to this, departing domestic passengers will be charged a User Development Fee (UDF) of <strong>\u20b9490<\/strong>, while international departures will <strong>pay \u20b9980.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arriving passengers will also incur charges\u2014\u20b9210 for domestic and \u20b9420 for international arrivals. All amounts are subject to applicable taxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This ad hoc tariff order will remain valid until 31 March 2026, or until a final decision is issued by the regulator.
