HOUSTON\u2014<\/strong> A United Airlines (UA)<\/a> flight operated by Mesa Airlines (YV) was forced to divert after a midair passenger disturbance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft departed Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) for George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) but diverted to Nashville International Airport (BNA) when crew members reported two verbally abusive passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His guilty plea resulted in a sentence that includes a five-year ban from commercial air travel. The decision underscores how seriously courts treat threats against aviation security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
