The passenger, an AAdvantage Platinum member, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that she was instructed to adjust her clothing by an American employee. She believes it was a gate agent rather than a flight attendant, since the incident reportedly took place before boarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to her, the airline staff singled her out for wearing athletic attire that emphasized her figure, while others of different races were not asked to cover up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
