Once granted, this would pave the way for the formal allocation of slots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, Indian carriers are preparing to launch direct services to China (PEK, PVG, CAN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To avoid delays tied to revising the existing air services agreement, both governments have agreed on a special arrangement to cap flights at 2019 levels.
