DUBAI-<\/strong> Emirates Airline (EK)<\/a> is expanding its Premium Economy offering across more routes, introducing the cabin on its Airbus A350, retrofitted Airbus A380, and Boeing 777 aircraft. The rollout will cover four key destinations: Amman (AMM), Mumbai (BOM), Muscat (MCT), and Bahrain (BAH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline\u2019s latest aircraft upgrades mean travelers will experience consistent service standards on more flights to and from Dubai International Airport (DXB), with Premium Economy and refreshed Business Class seats available across a wider network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates Premium Economy to Four Cities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The expansion of Premium Economy to Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain reflects Emirates\u2019 strategy to grow its premium travel footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By layering the upgraded cabins onto more schedules, the airline is improving connectivity and ensuring passengers linking through Dubai on long-haul routes have access to the same enhanced product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 26 October 2025, Emirates will begin operating EK903\/904 to Amman (AMM) with a four-class A380<\/a> <\/strong>featuring refurbished interiors, including Premium Economy. Both daily services to the Jordanian capital will be aligned with the carrier\u2019s newest onboard products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mumbai (BOM)<\/strong> will see the introduction of a retrofitted Boeing 777<\/a> on EK504\/505 starting the same day. This upgrade will extend across 22 weekly flights, giving passengers from India\u2019s financial hub access to Premium Economy and updated Business Class cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 30 October 2025, all nine weekly flights to Muscat (MCT) will feature the Airbus A350<\/a><\/strong>. EK862\/863 services on Thursdays and Saturdays will lead the deployment, making Muscat one of the shortest routes with Emirates\u2019 latest product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bahrain (BAH)<\/strong> will receive an additional retrofitted Boeing 777 starting 4 December 2025, operating on EK833\/834 every Thursday. Once fully introduced, Bahrain will only be served with upgraded aircraft, ensuring passengers always travel on refreshed cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scale of Premium Economy Rollout<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

These new deployments will push Emirates\u2019 Premium Economy presence to over 635 weekly flights<\/strong> worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the upcoming winter schedule, 68 cities<\/strong> will be served with the product, including 36 destinations exclusively operated with aircraft equipped with Premium Economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Demand for premium travel has been steadily rising, and Emirates is positioning itself to capture this growth. By the end of 2025, the airline expects to have more than 2 million Premium Economy seats available annually, up from the current 1.8 million across its network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Progress of the Retrofit Programme<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The rollout is powered by Emirates\u2019 extensive retrofit programme, one of the largest projects of its kind in aviation. Aircraft are being refurbished at a pace of one every three weeks, ensuring steady progress toward the airline\u2019s goal of upgrading 219 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far, 67 aircraft <\/em>have completed refurbishment. The plan covers a mix of 110 Airbus A380s and 109 Boeing 777s, all being fitted with Premium Economy and refreshed cabins across other classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside this, Emirates continues to induct new Airbus A350s<\/a> into service. Currently, the airline operates nine A350s to 15 destinations worldwide, providing a balance of new deliveries and retrofitted aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
