These routes are dominated by point-to-point traffic, with limited or no connecting flows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The A320\/A321 fleet served over 157 routes, operating 1,091 weekly flights and providing around 212,400 seats. The ATR-72 fleet covered 90 routes with 586 weekly flights, offering about 45,700 seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The average stage length for A320\/A321 non-metro routes was 893 km with a block time of 1 hour 39 minutes. ATR routes averaged 429 km with a block time of 1 hour 25 minutes. Another 10 routes (5 city-pairs) had exactly 14 flights, and 8 city-pairs operated between 8 and 13 flights weekly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bulk of the network \u2014 114 routes (57 city-pairs) \u2014 ran exactly 7 flights per week, with 76 of these using A320\/A321 aircraft and 38 using ATRs. The remaining 94 routes (47 city-pairs) operated less than daily, split between 56 on A320\/A321 and 38 on ATRs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IndiGo\u2019s most significant non-metro hub was <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Ahmedabad\">Ahmedabad (AMD)<\/a>, serving more than 26 routes with over 209 weekly flights, according to Ravreet Singh, an Aviation Analyst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pune (PNQ) followed with 24 routes and around 178 weekly flights. About 38% of routes operate less than daily, limiting market maturity and leaving them open to competitive entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Non-metro markets generally yield lower revenue due to their reliance on point-to-point demand.
