The movie in question, 1923<\/em> \u2014 a Paramount+ drama starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren \u2014 has been part of Delta\u2019s licensed entertainment catalogue since 2023. Several airlines, including British Airways (BA)<\/a> and LATAM (LA), also offer the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The father expressed concern online, prompting some commenters to suggest reporting the matter to law enforcement for possible child protection violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The passenger, posting on LinkedIn, described his frustration at seeing \u201ca full-blown sex scene\u201d play out on the screen ahead of his three children, noting it came from Delta\u2019s own entertainment library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some users responded by urging him to contact the police, suggesting the seatmate\u2019s actions could be interpreted as exposing minors to explicit material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta relies exclusively on Florida-based Touch Inflight Solutions, which also supplies Air New Zealand (NZ), WestJet (WS), and SAS (SK). North American and European carriers typically accept more unedited content than Middle Eastern airlines, which often request heavier censorship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One notable step to limit accidental exposure to sensitive scenes comes from El Al (LY). In 2024, the airline added privacy filters to seatback screens across its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet, reducing viewing angles so only the intended passenger can see the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This aims to balance modern high-definition screens with protection against unwanted viewing by nearby passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
