The backlash stems from a social media post in which the pilot demeaned flight attendants following the contract vote, prompting union members to demand his dismissal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The controversy erupted just after the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA) announced that 71% of United crew members had voted against the new proposal.
