As per the slots, the new service should commence on October 26, 2025<\/strong>, operating daily between Riyadh (RUH)<\/strong> and London Heathrow (LHR)<\/strong>. The airline will be using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner<\/strong>, which accommodates 288 passengers<\/strong> across business and economy cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This development stems from a slot swap with British Airways (BA)<\/a><\/strong>. This got approved under the bmi remedy process<\/em> \u2014 a competition measure established following International Airlines Group\u2019s (IAG) 2012 acquisition of BMI British Midland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This timing is expected to facilitate seamless connections to other European destinations and serve business travelers efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

British Airways has adjusted several of its own flights, notably moving RX401<\/strong> from 23:00 to 07:30 and BA9998<\/strong> from 23:30 to 23:00 across various operational dates, clearing the path for Riyadh Air\u2019s new schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
