Rafael Karoulla and his sister Maggie had mistakenly booked their easyJet tickets for 29 June 2026 instead of 2025. Fortunately, they quickly rebooked flights for the correct year and laughed off the mix-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rafael Karoulla, a 28-year-old advertising professional from Manchester, and his 30-year-old sister Maggie, a flight attendant<\/a>, had just returned to Europe after traveling through Thailand. They planned to wrap up their trip with a few days in Barcelona, where Maggie currently lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The siblings flew from Italy to London and were preparing to continue their journey to Spain with easyJet (U2). But when they reached London Gatwick Airport (LGW)<\/a> and tried to check in for their evening flight to Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN)<\/a>, the system denied entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
