It was not long ago that these flights started. Industry observers are debating the potential of the Amsterdam route, given its modest demand, with some suggesting creative scheduling or partnerships could make it viable.

The Manchester increase has drawn attention for its apparent sales success, hinting at a growing appetite for UK-India travel. There might be a 2nd Manchester route that IndiGo might introduce in the near future. Could Delhi make it is still a question.

Meanwhile, the Bangalore-Mauritius upgrade is a smart play to tap into IndiGo’s strong network from the airport. The downgrade of Istanbul flights has also sparked speculation about resource reallocation. Whether IndiGo will continue to lease Turkish Airlines’ Boeing 777s is yet to be seen.

IndiGo has a window to refine its strategy as the changes are kicking in from late September and October. The Manchester and Amsterdam boosts could set the stage for further international growth.

Stay tuned with us.
