The aircraft has been removed from service and will undergo a thorough inspection by the airline\u2019s maintenance team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While <strong>five passengers<\/strong> were evaluated on the scene and cleared, <strong>one passenger<\/strong> was transported from the gate area with a <strong>minor injury<\/strong>. Airport operations resumed normal activity by late afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This marks the <strong>second American Airlines (AA)<\/strong> incident at DEN in recent months. Upon landing, heat buildup in one of the main landing gear tires caused it to catch fire while the aircraft was taxiing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emergency responders at Newark acted swiftly to contain and extinguish the fire before it could pose a broader safety risk. No injuries or further complications were reported.
