ABU DHABI\u2014<\/strong> In a landmark move to streamline regional travel and boost tourism, six Gulf countries are working to launch a Unified Tourist Visa<\/strong> by late 2025 or early 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative\u2014similar to Europe\u2019s Schengen system<\/a>\u2014would permit seamless travel across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This multi-nation visa<\/strong>, driven by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)<\/strong>, will initially allow tourists to travel for up to 30 consecutive days<\/strong> across member states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visa is meant for tourism and short-term visits and does not permit employment or long-term stays<\/strong>. The six countries aim to finalize operational logistics in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
