Passengers subsequently cited the issue as a flap malfunction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the assessment of the situation, the pilots notified air traffic control and initiated a holding pattern near Mildura (MQL) in accordance with standard operating procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, and the Country Fire Authority were preemptively dispatched to the airport following the QantasLink flight\u2019s communication with air traffic control. Fortunately, emergency services weren\u2019t required when the flight landed at Mildura airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Q400 made a safe and uneventful landing in Mildura, with no injuries reported among the crew or passengers.
