JL, a member of the Oneworld alliance, is set to reap the rewards of this newer and more fuel-efficient aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of 21 July 2025, the carrier has purchased 13 of these aircraft, with 10 of them having been delivered. The fleet&#8217;s inaugural A350-1000, registered JA01WJ, was introduced on 14 December 2023, and the <strong>most recent aircraft, JA10WJ, was delivered on 17 July 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan Airlines deploys the A350-1000s exclusively on its long-haul international routes, while restricting the A350-900s to purely domestic operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan Airlines expects to complete all A350-1000 deliveries by 2028, aligning them with the planned retirement of its 777-300ERs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rate of deliveries was initially swift, with 10 planes joining the fleet in under 19 months. JAL flight JL6 departs Tokyo at 11:05 AM and arrives in New York at 10:50 AM. The return flight, JL5, departs from JFK at 1:45 PM and arrives in Tokyo at 5:15 PM the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JAL flight JL4 departs HND at 6:30 PM and arrives at JFK at 6:30 PM, while JL3 returns from JFK at 1:40 AM and arrives in Tokyo at 4:45 AM the following day. This is the second daily flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan Airlines operates a single daily A350-1000 flight between Tokyo and Los Angeles (LAX). JAL flight JL16 departs from HND at 5:00 PM and arrives at LAX at 11:00 AM. The return flight, JL15, departs Los Angeles at 1:30 PM and arrives in Tokyo at 5:25 PM the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the A350-1000 operates daily flights between Tokyo and Dallas (DFW). JAL flight JL12 departs Tokyo at 10:55 AM and arrives in Dallas at 8:40 AM. The return flight, JL44, departs from LHR at 6:30 PM and arrives in Tokyo at 5:20 PM the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the A350-1000 operates on an alternate day between Tokyo and Paris (CDG). JAL flight JL45 departs Tokyo at 10:20 AM and arrives in Paris at 5:55 PM. The return flight, JL46, departs CDG at 8:25 PM and arrives in Tokyo at 5:20 PM the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan Airlines will increase the frequency of this service to daily from 27 July to 30 September 2025. The service will again return to alternating days starting 1 October 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These 5 cities constitute Japan Airlines&#8217; strategic global hubs, perfect for demonstrating the A350-1000&#8217;s capabilities.
