ATLANTA-<\/strong> Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a> is reaffirming its long-term commitment to Nigerian travelers with major upgrades on its Lagos USA flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers departing from Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos (LOS), will now benefit from a premium lounge experience and next-generation aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From July 1, the airline will unveil a renovated lounge at LOS, and starting in October, it will deploy its most advanced widebody aircraft on flights to Atlanta (ATL)<\/a> and New York (JFK)<\/a>, enhancing comfort and connectivity for transatlantic passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta Lagos USA Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Delta Air Lines has served Nigeria for nearly two decades, and its newest upgrades represent a strategic investment in enhancing both ground and in-flight services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning July 1, customers departing from Lagos (LOS)<\/a> will have access to a newly upgraded premium lounge inside Murtala Muhammed International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facility reflects Delta\u2019s premium positioning and targets both Delta One passengers and high-value clientele from key industries like oil and gas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later in 2025, Delta will introduce its most technologically advanced aircraft to date, starting with the Airbus A350-900<\/a> on the Lagos\u2013Atlanta (LOS\u2013ATL) route in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the high-demand travel season between December 2 and January 16, the Airbus A330-900neo<\/a> will operate on the Lagos\u2013New York (LOS\u2013JFK) route, replacing the older A330-200 model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These aircraft are part of Delta\u2019s broader transatlantic strategy, offering larger capacity, better fuel efficiency, and premium onboard experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, and enhanced Main Cabin features, passengers flying between Nigeria and the US will experience elevated service from check-in to touchdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
