NEW YORK-<\/strong> JetBlue Airways (B6)<\/a> has announced a sweeping operational pullback, eliminating service to Miami (MIA) and significantly reducing its Seattle (SEA) presence, as the airline continues to battle prolonged financial losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will park four Airbus A320 aircraft<\/a> in long-term storage, slash midweek flight frequencies, and reduce executive leadership headcount as part of a cost-cutting initiative aimed at halting its cash bleed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JetBlue Exits Miami, Reduces Seattle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

JetBlue (B6), headquartered in New York City, is intensifying its financial turnaround strategy by exiting unprofitable routes and markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Effective immediately, the carrier will end all service to Miami International Airport (MIA)<\/a>, citing high operational costs and low profit margins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, JetBlue will retain a South Florida footprint through Fort Lauderdale (FLL), where it has a more established leisure-focused base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
