Indian Airlines Winter Flights

In 2024, Indian airlines experienced unexpected growth with the addition of over 100 new routes, improving connectivity nationwide.

Indian Airlines must now provide refreshments and meals to passengers during flight delays, per a new advisory issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Indian airlines operate around 600 aircraft, excluding over 150 planes grounded for various reasons such as engine issues and the grounded Go First (G8) fleet.

Air India (AI), IndiGo (6E), and others, are set to operate 23,732 weekly flights in the upcoming winter schedule, reflecting an increase of over 8% compared to the same period in the previous year.
