Cathay Pacific has agreed to repurchase Qatar Airways’ 9.57% stake for US$892 million, ending their equity partnership while maintaining alliance cooperation.

Air China (AC), presently holding a 30% stake in Cathay Pacific (CX), is contemplating acquiring a controlling stake in the Hong Kong-based airline.
