British Airways Cuts China Flights

British Airways cuts 19 routes since January 2025, consolidating at Heathrow while dropping Kuwait, Aruba, and multiple short-haul markets.

German airline Lufthansa (LH) is considering canceling its daily Frankfurt (FRA)-Beijing (PEK) flights due to increased competition and rising operational costs in Europe.

Recently, there has been a rise in international carriers cutting their flights to China, with British Airways (BA) becoming the latest one to cut the London Heathrow (LHR)-Beijing (PKX) route.

British Airways (BA) has announced that it will suspend its direct flights from London Heathrow to Beijing starting from October 26, 2024, until November 2025.
