Air Canada A220

Air Canada (AC) will launch three new U.S. routes in May 2026, strengthening connectivity from Toronto (YYZ) and Montreal (YUL).

Air Canada (AC) announced it will be the launch customer for the Airbus Airspace cabin on the A220 family of aircraft, delivering expanded overhead storage space to passengers.

Airbus has identified corrosion problems affecting a “limited population” of A220 passenger jets, including some operated by U.S. airlines.

Today (December 20, 2024), Airbus secured a major follow-up order from Air Canada (AC) for five A220s and Lufthansa for an A350-1000.
