Aer Lingus Pilot Deal

Aer Lingus has suspended a pilot after a seating dispute involving non-union crew on a Barbados–Manchester flight, sparking union protests and deepening tensions with management.

Aer Lingus also pays its first officers a flat rate of €85 per hour (US$93) for each unit over and above the 620 flying hours mark each year.

Aer Lingus (EI) revives plans to introduce the Airbus A321XLR after reaching a new labor deal with its pilots in July.
