SINGAPORE— Singapore Airlines (SQ) is introducing a broad refresh of its in-flight dining experience, with more than 100 new and updated dishes, expanded beverage choices, and new serviceware across its cabins.
The changes are being rolled out ahead of the airline’s wider travel experience launch planned for November 2026.
The new offering covers appetisers, main courses, and desserts under a new SIA Chefs’ Selection category. Singapore Airlines is progressively introducing the dishes across all cabin classes, while new beverages, premium tableware, and additional service touches will follow from November.

New SIA Chefs’ Selection Menus and Dishes
SIA Chefs’ Selection brings together new culinary creations, refreshed favourites, regional dishes, and familiar flavours developed by the airline’s in-house and guest chefs with its catering partners.
The programme is designed to provide greater variety while giving passengers different dining experiences across the airline’s cabin classes.
The selection includes dishes ranging from premium offerings such as Poached Maine Lobster with Champagne Sauce in Suites and First Class to refreshed choices designed for other cabins.
Singapore Airlines has also developed dishes that draw on different regional cuisines and cooking styles.
The new menu category adds to Singapore Airlines’ existing dining programmes, including Book the Cook, which allows eligible passengers in Suites, First Class, Business Class, and Premium Economy to pre-order selected main courses on qualifying flights.

New Drinks And Serviceware Across Premium Cabins
The airline is also expanding its beverage programme with additional wine and spirits options. Suites, First Class, and Business Class passengers will receive new wine selections, while new spirits will be available across all cabin classes.
A major change in the premium cabins will be the introduction of custom-designed serviceware created with French luxury tableware house Christofle.
The new pieces will be used in Suites, First Class, and Business Class and feature a subtle interpretation of Singapore Airlines’ signature batik design.
Singapore Airlines will also introduce more distinctive presentation methods for selected dishes in Suites and First Class. Cabin crew will support the upgraded dining experience by offering personalised service and beverage recommendations where appropriate.

November Travel Experience Launch Plans Ahead
The dining improvements form part of a wider Singapore Airlines investment in its end-to-end passenger experience.
The airline is preparing to unveil next-generation long-haul cabin products, an updated KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system, new amenities, and other onboard and ground-service improvements in November 2026.
Singapore Airlines has previously outlined a S$1.1 billion programme to introduce new long-haul cabin products across 41 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, highlighting the scale of its broader product investment.
The new dining dishes have already begun entering service progressively, while the remaining enhancements, including the new beverages, Christofle serviceware, and selected onboard service touches, are scheduled to arrive from November.
The changes give Singapore Airlines another opportunity to update its onboard product while preparing passengers for the carrier’s larger travel experience launch later this year.
