HONG KONG- Cathay Pacific (CX) will introduce its Aria Suite Business class, redesigned Premium Economy, and refreshed Economy cabins on Hong Kong (HKG) to Los Angeles (LAX) flights starting 4 April 2026.
The upgraded Boeing 777-300ER experience will initially operate weekly before expanding to daily service from May, strengthening Cathay Pacific’s North America network.

Cathay Pacific Aria Suite to Los Angeles
Cathay Pacific is rolling out its next-generation cabin products on selected flights between Hong Kong and Los Angeles, marking the third North American route to receive the upgrade after San Francisco and Vancouver.
The deployment begins with a weekly service on CX884 from Hong Kong to Los Angeles and on CX885 on the return leg. From 1 May 2026, operations will increase to daily, with additional seasonal adjustments to flight times during peak travel periods.
This move aligns with Cathay Pacific’s broader strategy to enhance long-haul passenger experience and reinforce its position in the premium airline segment.

Aria Suite Business Class Sets New Benchmark

Premium Economy has undergone a full redesign, with improved seat structure, greater privacy, and added storage solutions. The updates target comfort for medium to long-haul travelers seeking value without compromising space.
Economy class also sees notable upgrades, including refreshed seating and improved cabin aesthetics. These enhancements align with Cathay Pacific’s recognition by Skytrax for offering one of the world’s best Economy class experiences.
Across all cabins, passengers gain access to an upgraded inflight entertainment system with new features such as lavatory availability tracking.
