Singapore Airlines Riyadh Flights with Award Seats
Singapore Airlines will resume services between Singapore Changi Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh from 2 June 2026. The airline will operate four weekly flights using its two-class Airbus A350 medium-haul aircraft.
Each aircraft features 40 Business Class seats from the airline’s 2018 regional cabin product, along with Economy Class seating. Although this product is primarily used on regional routes, Riyadh becomes the longest route to use this configuration, still offering fully flat beds with direct aisle access.
Flights operate year-round, with minor timing adjustments in the winter 2026 to 2027 season.

Award Seats Now Open for Booking
Singapore Airlines has already loaded award inventory for booking through 31 January 2027, which is the maximum advance booking window of 355 days.
New award seats typically appear daily around 8:00 AM Singapore time for flights originating in Singapore or Riyadh. Travelers planning trips far ahead gain the best chance to secure saver awards.
KrisFlyer Redemption Rates
One-way redemption rates between Singapore and Riyadh fall under Zone 10 pricing as flagged by Mainly Miles:
Economy Class Saver: 32,000 miles
Business Class Saver: 68,000 miles
Singapore Airlines currently provides the only KrisFlyer redemption option to Saudi Arabia within the airline group, as Scoot excludes its Jeddah flights from award bookings.
Most flights initially show four instantly confirmable Business Class Saver seats, totaling around 1,120 available seats during the first eight months of service.
Travelers booking for five or more passengers should split reservations to avoid pricing all tickets at higher redemption levels.
PPS Club members may see expanded award space compared to regular KrisFlyer members.
Taxes and Additional Charges
Taxes and fees remain modest:
• Singapore to Riyadh: around SGD 68
• Riyadh to Singapore: around SAR 173 or SGD 58 equivalent
From 1 October 2026 onward, flights departing Singapore will also include the new Sustainable Aviation Fuel levy:
• Business Class: SGD 25.60

Booking before April 2026 helps avoid this added cost.

Competitive Cash Fare Options

• Economy Class round trip from about SGD 487
• Business Class round trip from about SGD 2,688
On some travel dates, purchasing tickets outright may offer better value than redeeming miles, especially in Economy Class.
Business Class Product Overview
The 2018 regional Business Class seat offers:
• Fully flat bed
• Direct aisle access for all passengers
• Large personal screen
• Spacious seat layout for medium-haul flights
While narrower than long-haul cabins, it still provides a comfortable overnight journey.
Booking Strategy for 2027 Travel
Award seats continue loading daily for flights 355 days ahead. Travelers targeting winter 2026 to 2027 travel should monitor availability regularly, especially for group travel.
This route presents one of the rare opportunities where families can reliably secure multiple Business Class award seats on the same flight.

Bottom Line
Singapore Airlines’ Riyadh return introduces strong award availability across its first operating months, allowing both solo and group travelers to redeem KrisFlyer miles easily.
Combined with reasonable fares and daily award releases, the route becomes one of the most accessible long-haul redemption options in the airline’s network.
