WARSAW- LOT Polish Airlines (LO) has announced the launch of a new direct service connecting Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) with San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
This addition strengthens LOT’s presence in the United States and marks a significant milestone in its transatlantic network expansion.
Ticket sales have already begun for the Warsaw to San Francisco route, which will commence on 6 May 2026 and operate during the summer season.
The airline will offer 4 weekly flights, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, providing both business and leisure travelers with convenient access between Central Europe and the US West Coast.

LOT Polish San Francisco Flights
The introduction of the Warsaw to San Francisco (WAW–SFO) route aligns with LOT Polish Airlines’ long-term strategy of enhancing connectivity between Europe and North America.
The carrier already serves several US cities, including Chicago (ORD), New York (JFK), Newark (EWR), Miami (MIA), and Los Angeles (LAX).
According to Robert Ludera, Director of the Network Department at LOT Polish Airlines, “Transatlantic flights are of strategic importance for LOT. In the past year alone, 800,000 passengers traveled on our routes between Poland and the United States.
The new San Francisco connection will link the heart of Europe with a global hub of technology and innovation, creating opportunities for tourism, business, and cultural exchange.”

Flight Schedule and Aircraft Details
The first flight, LO035, will depart Warsaw (WAW) at 11:15 AM on Thursdays and Sundays, while flight LO037 will leave at 5:40 PM on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Return flights LO036 and LO038 from San Francisco (SFO) are scheduled to depart at 3:50 PM and 10:15 PM, respectively.
