HONG KONG- Cathay Pacific (CX) will resume its non-stop passenger service between Hong Kong and Hyderabad, India, starting March 30, 2025.
Bookings are now open for the new Hong Kong (HKG)-Hyderabad (HYD) route, which aims to expand Cathay Pacific’s network in India and boost connectivity through its Hong Kong hub.
Cathay Pacific Hyderabad Flights
Cathay Pacific’s Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, Lavinia Lau, expressed enthusiasm about the relaunch, highlighting Hyderabad’s cultural significance and its role as a technology hub.
“This resumption strengthens our established presence in India and reaffirms our commitment to enhancing our services in this key market,” said Lau. “We are dedicated to fostering cultural connections and facilitating trade between Hong Kong and India.”
The route will be operated with Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A330-300, featuring Business and Economy cabins. The service will initially run three times weekly, increasing to five times a week from September 1, 2025.
Cathay Pacific’s resumed Hyderabad service will connect more travelers from India to Hong Kong, mainland China, and other destinations via its extensive network at Hong Kong’s hub.
In addition to Hong Kong, travelers can access cities in the Greater Bay Area through Cathay Pacific’s intermodal codeshare services, which include ferry and coach transfers via Hong Kong International Airport’s SkyPier Terminal.
The service has proven popular, especially among Indian travelers attending the recent Canton Fair due to the Guangzhou Pazhou Ferry Terminal’s proximity to the event.
Upon arrival in Hong Kong, customers can connect to seven Greater Bay Area destinations via ferry and two via coach transfers, bypassing Hong Kong immigration.
