MUMBAI- Tata Air India (AI) has recently deployed its Airbus A350 on a long-haul route from Delhi (DEL) to New York (JFK), but it still operates some domestic flights for training its crew and you can still fly them this Winter.
So far Air India has taken delivery of six out of 20 A350-900 from its major Airbus order comprising of 250 jets.
Air India A350 Domestic Routes
According to Aeroroutes, the Gurugram-based carrier will operate domestic flights on these routes:
- Delhi – Bangalore (BLR): 2 daily flights (AI514/513, AI813/507)
- Delhi – Hyderabad (HYD): 1 daily flight (AI544/840)
- Delhi – Mumbai (BOM): 6 weekly flights (AI863/660)
Remember, these schedules remain subject to operational changes. So always check the aircraft type before booking the flight on the airline’s official website.
For the Northern winter 2024/25 season, Air India has introducing domestic Airbus A350 services from Delhi, with operations scheduled until at least December 31, 2024.
Good thing about this flights is that you can fly on A350 as no extra cost. All flights have competitive fares and while booking you can also reminded by Air India that it will be operated by A350, which is the best feature.
As mentioned above airline has six A350-900s, which it rotates on these three routes and also some operating international flight and they are registered as:
- VT-JRA
- VT-JRB
- VT-JRE
- VT-JRF
- VT-JRH
- VT-JRI
